West Lincoln Senior pictures

Madison Ballenger from West Lincoln high school was a senior that was on my senior model team.  Madison was one of those seniors that made me laugh every time we got together.  She participated in all of the fun extra shoots that we did and I loved working with her.

Senior pictures with hats

We started Madison's session at the studio.  I loved experimenting  with color gels to get some creative and edgy images in the studio.  We then moved into the "white room" for some high key images that were clean and crisp.  After spending time in the studio we made our way to the lake.  Once we got to the lake, we started creating great images.  Her mom brought along a hat.  Madison did not want to take pictures with her hat.  Truth be told, her mom had to make her wear the hat.  Funny thing is, once she saw the images she really loved them with the hat.  Hats actually make great accessories for your senior pictures.  I love it when seniors bring all kinds of accessories to the session.

Senior pictures at the lake

To this day, I can honestly say that the evening we had Madison's session, we had THE MOST BEAUTIFUL sunset ever.  We were shooting away and getting various images at the lake.   Towards the end of her session we were wrapping up and had all the images that we "needed."  Then I happened to turn around before leaving and looked at the sky over the lake.  The sky had suddenly turned all of the clouds into a bright orange and pink cotton candy bowl.  It was the most beautiful sunset that I had  seen.  I thought we were done but as soon as I saw that sky I knew we had to get more.  I positioned her near the water with the beautiful orange and pink clouds and started firing off a few shots.  I promise you that the sky in these images are 100% real.  They were not photoshopped, added, or edited in any way.  The sky really was that beautiful.  It was an incredible way to finish off her session.  They ended up ordering a large metal wall portrait of one of the images in front of that sunset.  Madison is definitely one of those seniors that I will never forget.  I loved every minute of having her in front of my camera.

Are you ready to schedule your senior portrait experience?  Not sure were to begin?  It starts with a consult.  Lets talk.
