In the realm of high school senior photography, there are moments that transcend beauty and capture the essence of a remarkable achievement. Destiny, a radiant and accomplished West Lincoln High School senior, had the honor of being crowned Miss Lincoln County Apple Queen. With a longstanding tradition of capturing the grace and elegance of each Apple Queen, Tim Goates Photography had the privilege of creating a custom crown and gown portrait session for Destiny. Join us as we delve into the story of Destiny's journey, from the studio to the picturesque Rankin Lake, where her extraordinary beauty and achievements were forever immortalized.

For nine years, I have had the privilege of working with every Apple Queen in Lincoln County. This tradition of capturing the beauty and the accomplishments of each queen has become an integral part of my studio's legacy. Destiny's appointment as the Apple Queen presented a unique opportunity to continue this cherished tradition and create a truly special portrait session that would celebrate her achievements and inner radiance.  What is incredible about Destiny is not only her outward beauty but her inward beauty shines bright through her super sweet personality.  

Destiny's crowning as Miss Lincoln County Apple Queen marked a significant milestone in her life, deserving of a truly incredible  portrait session. This session is special because we not only create the queen's official wall portrait that will hang on the wall with all of the other queens, but we also create her signature cards that she will have the joy of passing out to everyone all year long and her own custom cinematic film.  

Destiny's session took place at the studio, where a timeless backdrop and expert lighting set the stage for Destiny's portraits. As Destiny took her place in front of the camera, her inner radiance and beauty shone through. With every click of the shutter, the photographs reflected her grace, poise, and the profound sense of accomplishment that comes with being crowned as an Apple Queen.

For some of the queens I have had the opportunity to plan other shoots or special projects that I want to work on.  Destiny was one queen where I was able to work with her on more than one occasion.   This added an extra touch of enchantment to Destiny's reign as queen. On one of these occasions I ventured with her to Rankin Lake. Nestled amidst picturesque scenery, the serene lake provided a captivating backdrop for the outdoor portion of the session. The tranquil waters mirrored Destiny's beauty,  and created an ethereal atmosphere that perfectly complemented her title as the Apple Queen.

As Destiny posed against the backdrop of Rankin Lake, I captured the essence of her grace and elegance. The day we photographed at the lake was cloudy so I chose to create some more dramatic and moody images.  

Destiny's official portrait has joined the esteemed gallery of past Apple Queens, forming a visual tapestry of beauty, accomplishment, and tradition. The legacy of celebrating the achievements and elegance of the Apple Queens would continue to inspire and uplift future generations, instilling a sense of pride and fostering a spirit of aspiration within the community.

Destiny's reign as apple queen will always be marked with elegance and pride.  She served the community well and provided an excellent example for all teen girls in Lincoln County to follow.  I am so glad that I got to work with her.
