In the realm of photography, there are rare moments when years of connection and collaboration come together to create a transformative senior experience. Kathryn, a talented high school senior with beautiful blonde hair, had a remarkable journey that intertwined her achievements and passions. From her involvement in my teen influencers team to her crowning as Miss North Lincoln High School, join us as we explore Kathryn's extraordinary senior year and the meaningful moments captured through my lens.

When I get to form a bond with a client's family over time, it paves the way for a deep and meaningful relationship. Over the course of nine years, I had the privilege of working closely with Kathryn's mom, Cheryl, who was the pageant queen mom for the yearly apple queen pageant in Lincolton NC.  This foundation of trust and connection set the stage for a remarkable senior portrait experience.

In 2020, Kathryn was a part of a my teen influencers team, where her radiant personality was captured many times in several groups shoots that we planned. I was so excited to get to work with her during that time and I couldn't wait for the day to actually create her senior experience.   The teen influencers team served as a stepping stone, building anticipation for the upcoming senior year and the opportunity to create something truly extraordinary for Kathryn.

Kathryn's senior year was marked by remarkable accomplishments and active involvement in her school's community. Not only was she a dedicated student, but she also excelled in extracurricular activities. As a member of the volleyball team, she displayed her athletic prowess and commitment to teamwork. Additionally, Kathryn cheered for the basketball team her senior year, showcasing her spirit and support for her school's athletes. To top it all off, she was crowned Miss North Lincoln High School, a testament to her poise, leadership, and the admiration of her peers.

Knowing Kathryn's exceptional journey and passions, we were able to craft a senior portrait experience that would capture her unique qualities and achievements. Collaborating closely with Kathryn and Cheryl, we planned the locations, coordinated wardrobe choices, and discussed themes that would showcase her vibrant personality, talents, and aspirations.

The day of the senior photoshoot arrived, and I was buzzing with excitement and anticipation. Kathryn, with her radiant smile and golden locks, exuded confidence and grace. As I always do, I guided her through various poses, capturing the essence of her senior year journey. 

The photographs from Kathryn's senior year experience beautifully showcased her achievements, personality, and stunning appearance. Each image celebrated her passion for sports, her role as a cheerleader, and the elegance that led to her crowning as Miss North Lincoln High School. The Images captured her essence with authenticity and grace, preserving the memories of her remarkable senior year.  I was so thrilled to get to preserve all of those beautiful images in a gorgeous album that will be a lasting heirloom for her family.  That album will serve as a cherished keepsake for Kathryn and her family. These tangible memories will forever be cherished by Cheryl long after Kathryn is gone and starting life on her own.  

After many years of working and connecting with her mom, I was so glad to finally work with Kathryn and create a senior portrait experience that will be remembered for the rest of their lives.  I know that Kathryn's future is bright and I can not wait to see where God takes her.
